I don't know what to say.
Except:
If any of your friends have not seen Shag live, they very much need to.
I've never heard a band cover 'Rolling Stone' by Bob Dylan before.
I just stood there in disbelief at how good it sou...nded.
Singing? Perfect.
Instruments? Perfect.
And I really, really liked the subtle changes that made a huge difference (to
me) on the "feel" of the song.
Especially, walking down the bass before the chorus. In addition, some of the
suspended chords mixed throughout.
What a damn good version!!!
Further more, Laurence (sp? sorry) has a really good voice. It was obvious that
he could cover Oasis well, but I was suprised at ability to pull off U2.
Especially the extremely high notes. And his intonation last night, was perfect.
I really enjoyed seeing you guys play. I'll have to figure out another time to
see you guys.

Laurence and the band were fantastic. They are talented, friendly and a definite crowd pleaser. We will be booking them again this summer! You never know how a band is going to turn out even if you see them somewhere else...but these guys are the real deal! We hired them for my husband’s 35th surprise party in our backyard….it could not have turned out any better. Thanks Shag Band for the making the evening a perfect occasion! SHAG performed for our corporate Holiday Party. Prior to the actual event they met with me face to face & surveyed our location and stayed in direct contact with me during the time leading up to the event. As for there actual performance I found the quality of the music to be spot on and the lead singer even helped to rally the typical non dancers onto the floor. Great crowd interaction! We had unique request for time alotment for our award ceremonies of which they were very accomodating.
